Architecture[edit]

  • All architecture within the Mikaegeny consists of the Style Ebon design, a centrally-planned style of architecture created to help resolve the issue of overpopulation and construction cost within Mikaean urban centers
  • Housing designed with focus on prefabricated pieces to help reduce cost of materials and help quicken the pace of construction to keep up with the rapidly expanding population
  • More than 80% of all housing within the Mikaegeny consists of Style Ebon architecture as centrally-mandated throughout the country by the Highfather's government
  • Traditional architecture from the Mikaegeny's past has been totally replaced by modern construction, with the exception of some locations in remote rural areas beyond the megalopolises of the planet
  • All housing within the Mikaegeny designed to accommodate a single coterie per unit, with classifications for buildings designed around this point
  • Green spaces incorporated into design of architecture, with benches, tables, dividers, and columns having some sort of foliage incorporated into their forms
  • Lighting is typically hidden away in large open spaces; lighting for stairs placed within steps at the front, while tables in bars have lighting located below the serving table
  • Colors for buildings and structures as a whole are muted, with black, white, and blue being the most prominent base colors used in Mikaean architecture
  • The color red is used as a shock color, drawing attention to certain items or locations in a building or area; red primarily used in military or law enforcement buildings and lighting
  • Style Ebon structures designed with "clean" minimalist look that is punctuated with greenery and neon lighting during the evening; glass awnings typically green, blue or orange to add color to buildings
  • Upper class housing designed and constructed as a single unit from the ground up; lower class housing built from prefabricated pieces and materials to allow for rapid construction of housing in urban centers
  • Mikaean cities can best be described as being metal boxes with grass and trees grafted in to add life and color to them; tree-lined boulevards frequently added to urban planning for streets
  • Most major cities have underground levels which are approximate one kilometer between the surface; lower-level sections with artificial rivers are common sights within Mikaean cities

It is designed with a honeycomb lattice structure using nanotube fibers which enhance the physical protection to the soldier, as well as increase the lifespan of the uniform.
  • Ranks are displayed on the breastplate for the body armor, while the name of the soldier is located just above the rank plate's location in Mikaean script
  • The pieces of equipment that make up the uniform are as follows:
    • Environmentally-sealed bodysuit with temperature regulation
    • Semi-padded shock-absorbing bodysuit with built-in webbing for gear

Government[edit]

Government Details
Patrimony Patrimonies are the most common form of government utilized by the Mikaean nation-states, with virtually all existing Mikaean polities originated as a patrimony. A patrimony is a government in which a Mikaean male known as a High Patron rules with absolute power as the head of state and government. Akin to the human ethno-states in which a nation will comprise the historical lands and population of a single ethnic group, a patrimony will consist solely of a patriarch, all of his offspring, and the lands upon which they have historically resided. Often, but not always, a high patron will allow for the formation of a legislative body known as an Allkin, which consists of high-ranking members of his progeny who aid him in the day-to-day governance of his household. As units themselves, patrimonies comprise the majority of the Mikaegeny's most powerful nations, with each ruling patriarch having unprecedented levels of power and influence over the lives of hundreds of millions of his children. The power held by a patriarch over his offspring goes beyond that held even by the god-kings of humanity's Egyptian and Chinese civilizations, as issues such as court intrigue and coup d'etats witnessed within such governments simply do not exist within that of a patrimony. All members of the patrimony live, work, and die for the greater glory of their father, and to bicker with one's sister over their role or influence is considered an affront to their father's power and right to rule.
Honorable Union Honorable unions are rare political and military unions between two or more patriarchs, who have come together to bolster one another's capabilities to survive in a hostile political landscape. Within the official naming of such unions, the nation will host the names of the two founding patriarchs within the title; one example being the "Honorable Union of Mikael and Eryk". These are unusually long-lived in spite of the historical hostility harbored between two patriarchs over the utilization of land and resources. It is believed that due to the danger of individual operations by the minor patriarchs in a world dominated by powerful highfathers, these unions are necessary alliances of convenience. Both patriarchs have equal power within the union, and consult with one another routinely to ensure that the needs of the alliance are being met by their respective households. Either patriarch can leave the union at anytime as per tradition, however, he risks his children being attacked by their former allies as they are no longer bound to the pact of nonaggression which made the union itself possible in the first place.
Brotherhood Brotherhoods are larger versions of the honorable union, and consequently far rarer in their appearance. Brotherhoods consists almost entirely of minor patriarchs who individually would be of inconsequential note. These unions exists for much the same reason honorable unions do, though they are unique in that due to the circumstances of Mikaean geopolitics, several patriarchs have banded together to save themselves and their daughters from extermination in the face of the far larger and more populous patrimonies which surround them. As patriarchs cannot stand to interact with one another due to biological needs requiring the monopolization of resources for their progeny, the formation of a brotherhood is a sight to behold as dozens of patriarchs overcome their instinctive urges to fight one another for dominance, to overcome a far greater threat posed to their families. Within a brotherhood, the government consists of a ruling body comprised of all patriarchs within the union with equal power and influence, and all with a vote and a veto. Below them is a legislative body consisting of equal representation for all households involved in the brotherhood. The upper house of fathers is responsible for making the executive decisions for the union, whereas the lower house is responsible for proposing laws and regulations as determined by need to the upper house.
