'''Unagami''' (Japanese: 海上 ''Unagami''), officially the '''Unagami Autonomous Prefecture''' (海上自治県 ''Unagami jichi-ken'') is a {{W|Prefectures of Japan|prefecture}} of {{W|Japan}} located in the northeastern {{W|Pacific Ocean}} just off the coast of {{W|North America}}. The prefecture lies on the {{W|Salish Sea}} and shares maritime borders with the {{W|Provinces and territories of Canada|Canadian province}} of {{W|British Columbia}} to the north and east and the {{W|United States|U.S.}}} {{W|U.S. state|State}} of {{W|Washington (state)|Washington}} to the south. It is the easternmost and westernmost prefecture of Japan and is the only prefecture located in the western hemisphere and in the Americas.
