Usage

To use this template, simply copy and paste the following text into the article and fill in any of the parameters. Only "name" is required.

Parameters

An explanation of what each parameter is. For more information, ask on the talk page.

1. icon = Optional icon above the organization name (specify an image file and size)
2. name = the name of the denomination
3. native_name = the name of the denomination in the organization's native language (if it is not in English and it is not the same name used in the above field)
4. native_name_language = ISO 639-1 code for the language used in the above field
5. image = any image associated with the denomination (logo)
6. imagewidth = width of image, default "200px." Recommend under 200px. Used when available image is low-resolution.
7. alt = alternative text to be displayed describing image.
8. caption = a caption for the image
9. abbreviation = an abbreviation (such as an acronym) for the denomination
10. main_classification = (Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, etc.)
11. orientation = (main theology, e.g. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist)
12. scripture = the canon of religious text used by the denomination, including non-Bible works
13. theology = (main theology, e.g. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist)
14. polity = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
15. governance = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
16. structure = organizational structure for groups that do not employ a standard ecclesiastical polity
17. leader_title = title of religious leader; defaults to "Moderator"
18. leader_name = name of religious leader
19. leader_title1 = title of religious leader; defaults to "Leader"
20. leader_name1 = name of religious leader
21. leader_title2 = title of religious leader; defaults to "Director"
22. leader_name2 = name of religious leader
23. leader_title3 = Custom leader title
24. leader_name3 = name of religious leader
25. fellowships_type = field to specify the type of fellowships, default "Distinct fellowships"
26. fellowships = names of distinct fellowships within the denomination
27. fellowships_type1 = Alternative fellowship description
28. fellowships_type1 = Alternative fellowships
29. division_type = Specify a custom division
30. division = Name or example of that division

37. associations = names of inter-denominational associations the church is part of; e.g. International Conference of Reformed Churches
38. area = geographical area, e.g. North America and Japan

40. liturgy = Liturgy employed, for instance Roman Rite
41. headquarters = Headquarters or main denominational office
42. origin_link = Optional article for "Origin" heading to be linked to
43. founder = the original founder
44. founded_date = date of founding
45. founded_place = location of founding
46. separated_from = separation from (denomination)
47. branched_from = if the denomination branched off of a parent denomination
48. merger = if the denomination was the result of a merge
49. absorbed = names of denominations that were absorbed into this body
50. separations = names of denominations that have split off from this denomination
51. merged_into = name of existing denomination into which this body was merged
52. defunct = year in which this body ceased to exist if not merged with or into another denomination
53. hospitals = number of church-operated hospitals
54. nursing_homes = number of church-operated nursing homes
55. aid = name of humanitarian aid organization run by the church, like Adventist Development and Relief Agency
56. congregations_type = type of congregation (default "Congregations")
57. congregations = number of congregations
58. members = number of members
59. ministers_type = specify the type of ministers/priests/pastors/...
60. ministers = number of ministers/priests/pastors/...
61. missionaries = number of missionaries
62. churches = number of churches
63. primary_schools = number of church-operated primary schools
64. secondary_schools = number of church-operated secondary/high schools
65. tax_status = tax classification (e.g., Internal Revenue Service 501c3 or equivalent) of the main body
66. tertiary = number of church-operated tertiary level colleges or universities
67. publications = names of the publications made by the denomination
68. other_names = alternative name or names by which the denomination is/was known
69. website = official website
70. website_title1 = alternative website title
71. website1 = alternative web address
72. slogan= Slogan
73. logo= Logo
74. module= Used for embedding other infoboxes into this one
75. footnotes = any footnotes
