This template is intended for use as a parameter to other templates, such as hatnotes, where it is desired to link to a disambiguation page. The template takes one parameter, which should be a page title; if "page title (disambiguation)" exists, even as a redirect, it returns a piped link to that page; if not, it returns a link to the unmodified parameter.
