The Second American Civil War, alternatively referred to as the War for the Soul of America, the Great American War, and the War for Liberation Against Tyranny and Capitalism amongst other names, is an ongoing multilateral civil war involving various armed groups and the federal government of the United States. The 2018 midterm elections, which led to a near landslide victory for the Republican Party, drew criticism from the Democratic Party. The radical progressive wing of the Democrats attempted to force recounts in states such as Georgia, California, and Michigan, which drew ire from the Republicans and right wing groups. This culminated in an attempted coup d'etat against the incumbent Republican president David R. Walsh, which failed. This however, didn't stop the radicals and led to a mass of secessions from various liberal cities and states. In response, President Walsh ordered national guard units to crush the secession attempts.
