San Romulo (Ligurian: San Rommolo; Spanish: San Rómulo; 'Saint Romulus'), officially the Territory of San Romulo (Ligurian: Territöio da San Rommolo; Spanish: Territorio de San Rómulo) is a territory of the Federal Republic of Columbia. It is the second-largest territory by area and the largest by population in the country, spanning some 170,000 square miles and having a population of around 400,000 as of the 1880 census. San Romulo is the most ecologically diverse administrative division of the country, from mountains and chapparals to the northwest and the dry Tusey Desert in the center, to open prairies in the easternmost portions of the territory. Seven indigenous tribes, of which two were relocated to San Romulo, live in various reservations set up the Columbian government in previous decades.
